raptor by one of the spots with flowing water- it shook it’s head at some point and parts of something flew off- a kill? i have audio of it i will try to share- you can hear it make a call at one point and abruptly stop- poop- and continue. hah- even raptors push to poop! New experiences- always learning. Love it. I was laughing.

Very cool plant specimens at headquarters. I saw some of these "nodding onions", wonder if they are edible and tasty?? From WP: "Allium cernuum is edible and has a strong onion flavor, and has often been used in cooking. This species is also cultivated in many places. for its attractive flowers.[16]" - NICE!!

I tried to feed the ant lions but they were not going for it. One even flipped sand at the ant I dropped in but never grabbed it.
